Mercadillo Solidario de Navidad / Christmas Charity Market

  El próximo domingo, 14 de diciembre, participaré en el Mercadillo Solidario de Navidad del Colegio Mª Auxiliadora de Las Palmas de G.C. Aparte de todo tipo de productos originales, habrá música en directo, recogida de alimentos no perecederos y los más pequeños podrán disfrutar de castillos hinchables y la visita del paje real de los Reyes Magos. ¡Únete a esta gran fiesta solidaria y regala productos originales estas Navidades! Ésta tendra lugar en la C/ Tomás Morales, 41 de 10:00 a 16:00h.

 

  Next sunday, december 14th, you can find my stand at the Christmas Charity Market of Mª Auxiliadora school Las Palmas G.C. Apart from all kind of original stuff, there'll be live music, non-perishable food collection and the children will be able to enjoy bouncy castles and the Three Wise Men page visit. Cancelación del Fashion & Craft / Fashion & Craft cancellation

 Lamento comunicarles, que debido al mal tiempo, se ha cancelado el evento "Fashion & Crafts" que anunciaba por aquí hace unos días. Pero podrán encontrar mis productos en el Mercadillo Solidario de Navidad que se celebrará el próximo 14 de diciembre en el Colegio Mª Auxiliadora de Las Palmas. Pronto les pasaré la información completa :)

"La noche más larga" / "The longest night"

¡Esta tarde estaremos con el puestito en Telde! Ven a disfrutar de "La noche más larga" donde encontrarás aparte de puestos de artesanía, actuaciones y una gran fiesta "vaquera". Será de 19:00 a 24:00h en la C/ Viera y Clavijo de San Gregorio.¡No te lo pierdas!

This evening I'll have my stand in Telde! Come on and enjoy "The longest night" where you'll be able to see shows and a great "cowboy" party apart from the handcraft market. It'll take place in C/ Viera y Clavijo (San Gregorio) from 19:00 to 24:00h. Don't miss it!

¡Reinauguración de "Mar i Cel Il.lustrat"! / Reopening of "Mar i Cel Il.lustrat"!

 ¡Traigo buenas noticias! Esta tarde se reinaugura en Barcelona la expo colectiva "Mar i Cel Il.lustrat" en la que participo con una obra. Esta vez tendrá lugar en el restaurante Ona Nuit (C/ Joan Cirera i Pons 13-15.El Prat de Llobregat) a las 19:30h. A los que no tuvieron la oportunidad de verla en Torre Llobeta, les animo a que se pasen. Podrán disfrutarla desde hoy hasta el 28 de noviembre. 
  

Good news! This evening in Barcelona it's being reopening the collective exhibition "Mar i Cel Il.lustrat" in which I'm participating with an artwork. This time it's taking place at Ona Nuit Restaurant (C / Joan Pons i Cirera 13-15. El Prat de Llobregat) at 19: 30h. I encourage those who didn't have the chance to see it at Torre Llobeta to visit it. You can enjoy it from now until November 28th.

Mercado benéfico de Ilustración / Illustration Charity Market

El próximo 22 de agosto tendré el gusto de participar en el Mercado Benéfico de Ilustración, con una selección de mis trabajos y algo de merchandising a la venta. Una parte de estas ventas irá destinada a la Fundación Alejandro Da Silva, cuya labor se centra en mejorar la calidad de vida de los niños que padecen leucemia. ¡Anímate a participar en este gran evento solidario!

On August 22 I will be glad to participate in the Illustration Charity Market, with a selection of my artwork and some merchandising for sale. A portion of these sales will go to the  Alejandro Da Silva Foundation, whose work focuses on improving the quality of life of children with leukemia. We encourage you to participate in this great charity event!

Ey Chipirón Fest

Y...¿¿a dónde nos vamos este sábado?? ¡¡Pues al "Ey, Chipirón Fest"!! Si aún no has tenido la oportunidad de adquirir mi merchandising ilustrado, te invito a que te pases este sábado 16 de agosto de 16:00h a 21:00h por la Plaza Playa de Arinaga (Arinaga). Aparte de la muestra de artesanía y productos creativos en la que participo, podrás difrutar de música, fiesta de la espuma, hinchables y ¡¡muchas cosas más!! ¡¡No te lo pierdas!!

Los próximos días 8 y 9 de agosto podrán ver mis ilustraciones en el "Mercado de Creación Joven", evento enmarcado dentro de la Feria Europea de la Juventud que tendrá lugar en la Casa de la Juventud de Telde (C/ Navarra nº1). :)

Next 8 and 9 of August I will be displaying my artwork at the “Young Creation Market”. This event belongs to the European Youth Fair and will take place in Telde Youth House (C/Navarra, nº1). :)

El pasado sábado, tuve el privilegio de participar con mi "Águila Mensajera" en la primera edición de Wallpeople Las Palmas cuya temática fue "Back to Nature". Este año ha sido la primera vez que Las Palmas se ha unido a esta iniciativa artística, con origen en Barcelona, que se lleva a cabo desde hace 4 años en distintas ciudades del mundo al mismo tiempo.

Last Saturday, I had the privilege of participating with my "Messenger Eagle" in the first edition of Wallpeople Las Palmas whose theme was "Back to Nature". This year was the first time Las Palmas joined this artistic initiative, originating in Barcelona, which has been taking place for the last 4 years in different cities around the world simultaneously.

Mercadillo Solidario Vintage / Vintage Charity Market

El próximo sábado, 24 de mayo, participaré en el "Mercadillo Solidario Vintage" organizado por el Colegio Mª Auxiliadora de Las Palmas. Aparte de los puestitos de artesanía, también habrán actividades varias dirigidas a los niños así como puestos de comida. La entrada es gratuita y será de 11:00 a 19:00 h (entrada por la C/Pérez del Toro). ¡¡No se lo pierdan!!

Next Saturday, May 24th, I am participating in the "Vintage Charity Market" organized by Mª Auxiliadora school in Las Palmas. Apart from craft stands, there will also be several activities aimed to children as well as food stalls. Admission is free and will be from 11:00 to 19:00 (entrance through C / Pérez del Toro). Do not miss it!

Como ya venía comentando hace unos días, el pasado 4 de abril tuvo lugar la inauguración de "Mar y Cielo Ilustrado". El acto tuvo un gran éxito de público como puede apreciarse en la foto central. Podrán ver más instantáneas de la inauguración en mi página de facebook ;). Recordarles que podrán visitar la exposición hasta el 5 de mayo en el centro cívico Torre Llobeta C/ Santa Fe, 2 bis 08031 Barcelona.


As I was already talked about a few days ago, last 4th April took place the opening of "Sea and Sky Illustrated". The event was a great audience success as you can see in the middle picture. You can glance over more pictures of the inauguration on my facebook page ;). Remind you that you will be able to visit the exhibition until May 5th at the Civic Center Torre Llobeta C / Santa Fe, 2 bis 08031 Barcelona.

Feria de primavera de Arucas/ Arucas Spring Fair

Este sábado 12 de abril, de 10.00 a 14.00 "El mundo ilustrado de Merikey" (o sea, una servidora con sus ilustraciones en formato láminas, postales, ect.) volverá a Arucas para la Feria de Primavera. Ésta tendrá lugar entre la Plaza de la Constitución y la calle Francisco Gourie. ¡¡No te lo pierdas!!

This Saturday, April 12th, from 10.00 to 14.00 "The Merikey's Illustrated world" (that is myself with my artwork captured in posters, postcards,ect.) is returning to Arucas for the Spring Fair. This will take place between the Plaza de la Constitución and Francisco Gourie Street.Do not miss it!

Se desvela el misterio... / Mystery is unraveled

¡Y seguimos desvelando misterios! ¿Se acuerdan de aquella mancha rosa que les enseñaba el otro día? ¡Pues este es el resultado final! Ésta será la ilustración con la que participaré en la exposición "Mar i Cel il.lustrat" ("Mar y Cielo ilustrado").

And we continue unraveling mysteries! Do you remember that pink stain I show you the other day? So this is the final result! This is the illustration that will be shown in the exhibition "Mar i Cel il.lustrat" ("Sea and Sky illustrated").

Y por fin.... ¡¡Se desvela el misterio!! El evento del que había hablado hace unos días no es nada más y nada menos, que una exposición colectiva en la que participo con otros 33 ilustradores en Barcelona. El título de la expo es "Mar i Cel il.lustrat" ("Mar y Cielo ilustrado") y está inspirada en la obra de Àngel Guimerá.

La inauguración tendrá lugar el viernes 4 de abril las 19:00h en el centro cívico Torre Llobeta C/ Santa Fe, 2 bis 08031 Barcelona. Como llegar: Metro - Líneas 4 y 5 (Maragall) / Bus - 19, 31, 32, 45, 47, 74, N1 y N4.

La expo estará hasta el 5 de mayo, así que los que no puedan ir el mismo día de la inauguración tendrán todo un mes para verla. Y a los que sí que puedan asistir a la inauguración estaré encantada de verlos por allí 


 

And finally .... the mystery is disclosed! The event I had talked a few days ago is none other than a collective exhibition in which I am taking part with other 33 illustrators in Barcelona. The title of the exhibition is "Mar i Cel il.lustrat" ("Sea and Sky illustrated") and has been inspired by the work of Àngel Guimerá. 

The inauguration is taken place on Friday, April 7.00 pm at the Civic Center Torre Llobeta C / Santa Fe, 2a 08031 Barcelona. Getting there: Metro - Lines 4 and 5 (Maragall) / Bus - 19, 31, 32, 45, 47, 74, N1 and N4. 

The exhibition will go on to May 5, so those people who can not go the opening day will have a whole month to see it. In the other hand, I will be glad to meet with those people who will be able to attend.

Feria de Artesanía de Arucas (Gran Canaria) / Arucas Craft Fair (Gran Canaria)

Mañana viernes 7 de febrero, "El mundo Ilustrado de Merikey" tendrá un puestito en la Feria de Artesanía de Arucas (Gran Canaria) con cositas nuevas. Será desde las 18:00 hasta las 23:00h, y aparte de los puestos de artesanía se podrá disfrutar de espectáculos para niños y musicales. ¿Te lo vas a perder?

Tomorrow, February 7, "Merikey's Illustrated World" will have a stand in the Arucas Craft Fair  (Gran Canaria) with new stuff. It will be from 18:00 to 23:00 h, and apart from the craft stalls you will be able to enjoy music and shows for children. Are you going to lose it?
