This year the Book Fair of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has given to me two gifts: the first, the opportunity to participate in the exhibition of Canary illustrators "One Hundred Years of Solitude" and the other having been invited by the Service of publications of the ULPGC to be present in its stand signing copies of Wi, my last publication.

With the exhibition, the organization of the fair intended to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the work of Gabriel García Márquez "One Hundred Years of Solitude", so each of the participants had to make a personal interpretation of that book. My contribution was titled "The Buendía Curse" since the image I created represents the inability to love of the lead family.

On the other hand, I had the pleasure of signing and drawing copies of Wi, written by Daniel Martín Castellano and Sandra Franco Álvarez, accompanied by the female writer. As I was announcing in the previous post, this work was the winner of the Fifth Supportive Tales Contest Mapfre Guanarteme and it has been promoted during the fair as the fifth book of the collection "Supportive Tales".
